Soylent Green?

Have you ever wondered what people taste like?

More than likely you already do. Does that concept make your stomach turn? Well, believe it or not, there's a good possibility food in your pantry contains human DNA.

I can't make this kind of stuff up.  This isn't some futuristic fantasy.  This has been happening for years.  What amazes me is that this story hasn't gotten more attention. The fact that it hasn't received much attention doesn't make it any less true. Why haven't the masses noticed they're eating human DNA? The media hasn't been totally silent, but you'd think if people discovered they were eating veggies mixed with people, they'd have an opinion on the topic.

Why does researching this topic lead to more questions than answers?

A few years ago, while researching Monsanto, I stumbled across a horrifying article about a genetic experiment.  Monsanto had developed a strain of rice they spliced with human DNA  Then they got clearance to grow it OUTSIDE. (Growing it outside allowed it to cross pollinate with neighboring fields.) Why would someone do this, let alone be allowed to do it outside?  Well, there is some debate.  I personally can't imagine it being a good idea. Mainly because mad cow disease developed from cow cannibalism.  Could we be the next victims?  Unfortunately, we'll probably find out eventually.  The reason there's no real information about the effects of human DNA in food is the fact we've never studied large groups of people that consume things like hair, fingernails, and other things that would contain human DNA.

Every time I mention this experiment in conversation, my listeners are shocked, horrified, and continue listening out of disgust and disbelief. I think this topic is SO shocking, people don't want to talk about it.  Silence won't change anything.

Considering I heard about this topic in 2009, and it had already been going on for awhile, I assumed mainstream media would eventually pick it up.  For whatever reason, they never did. Just a few clips here and there.  Nothing exclusive or viral.

That's why I have decided to compile a list of sources, so you're able to inform yourself and others about what might be in your kitchen.

US green-lights human/rice hybrid

The article in the link above was written in 2007.  When you hear different scientists discussing the matter, their debate points are VERY widespread.  This suggests a lack of data accepted as fact.

GM industry puts human gene into rice

So our story really begins.  The article in the link above was written in 2005.

Will Supreme Court decide companies can own human genes?

The article in the link above was written in 2013.  The supreme court ruling got more attention than some of the other topics because there is a fair amount of breast cancer awareness. I don't think many people stopped and wondered what other human genes might be patented, and for what purpose.

Genetically Engineered Food Alters Our Digestive Systems!

The article in the link above was written in 2011.

"As the Institute for Responsible Technology has noted, the genetic engineering process creates massive collateral damage, causing mutations in hundreds or thousands of locations throughout the plant’s DNA. Natural genes can be deleted or permanently turned on or off, and hundreds may change their behavior. Even the inserted gene can be damaged or rearranged, and may create proteins that can trigger allergies or promote disease."

Mad cows, cannibalism and the shaking death

The above article is actually pretty new.  September, 2013.

Eating humans - vegan, vegetarian, or cannibal?

The article in the link above was posted in 2011.
I assume this topic would be EXTRA interesting to vegetarians.  If I discovered that my  vegetables were no longer sacred, I would personally  be outraged.  People tend to joke about the topic instead of trying to raise awareness.

New Strategy for Expression of Recombinant Hydroxylated Human-Derived Gelatin in Pichia pastoris KM71

Yes, the publication in the link about is discussing Human-Derived Gelatin. It was published in 2011.

This is a newer science, and WE are the lab rats.

Claim:   Pepsi is using cells from aborted fetuses to create flavor enhancers.

Snopes did a pretty good job explaining a very confusing issue. They posted their research in 2011.  In the end, not only have I lost my appetite, but I'm still somewhat confused about Pepsi's PR response.

Supreme Court Rejects Human-Gene Patents -- Sort Of

The above link is an article in Forbes.  The 'Sort Of' aspect allows for a LOT of wiggle room in the law, so there are still a lot of questions to ask.

Study: Stomach Cancer Up In Young, White Adults

For the ones who are still denying a correlation between GM foods, and cancer, all the signs are there.  You just have to actually be looking.  The above article was written in 2010, and opens with the fact that scientists are "puzzled."  Seriously?  They're puzzled?  Cancer takes awhile to grow.  Like I said before, this is a relatively new science.  WE are the lab rats.  This is NOT the time to remain silent.  The masses should be DEMANDING answers.

'Profiteering' pharmaceutical giants killing cancer patients - report

People are slowly waking up to the fact the drug companies are literally robbing them. Just don't forget about the icing on the cake.  Monsanto and the FDA are pretty much the same entity these days.  If you actually feel like you can trust an operation like that, then I can't believe you've already read this much.

Monsanto in $50 billion merger

"Monsanto Co. and Pharmacia and Upjohn signed a merger agreement Sunday, creating the world's 11th largest drug company with a cabinet of top-selling medicines to treat ailments from arthritis to glaucoma."
This is reality, people.  Like I said before, I can't make this stuff up.
                                            ~THIS MERGER HAPPENED IN 1999.~

If you still believe these companies have your best interest at heart, I honestly can't help you.
